The UAB Football Facility & Legacy Pavilion are coming along nicely, and the project team marked the progress by hosting a Midpoint Construction Celebration last week. Everyone involved with the project was invited to join us for lunch as we heard from UAB President, Ray Watts; Athletic Director, Mark Ingram; and of course the UAB Head Football Coach, Bill Clark.
Progress is continuing with the completion of steel and exterior framing/sheathing and waterproofing. Skin activities such as storefronts, curtainwall, and brick are in progress and the interior rough-in is approximately 75% complete. Drywall is also currently being hung.
The excitement is growing as the early July completion of the facility and upcoming football season are nearing!
