M. J. Harris completed the 44,000 square foot Surgery Department renovation on the 2nd floor of Sparks Regional Medical Center’s Renaissance Building. The project features 10 “smart” operating rooms with the latest surgical and technical equipment available. Other project upgrades include a top-of-the-line surgical sterilization system, more modernized pre-op and patient recovery areas, new nursing stations and renovated waiting areas. Also, M. J. Harris constructed a new bridge that connects the surgery area with the hospital’s patient floors for increased convenience in patient transport.
It is a great comfort to know that a construction team is willing to do whatever it takes to meet the arduous demands of the construction schedule while working with both Owner and Architect to protect the integrity of the overall design concept.Alan F.
